I LEAVE SEVERAL WATER CONTAINERS OUT ON THE GROUND, FOR THE WILD LIFE ALL YEAR ROUND AND I ALSO HANG WATER CONTAINERS IN THE TREES FOR THE BIRDS.

Lovely writing and fab suggestions.. Thank you Hugh. I am going to rig up my roof guttering with a clever pipe so that any rainwater goes straight into the pond. I have made a beach at one end of the pond and all the creatures are using it. The birds line up at bath time!

Voted for Kate's book and have dotted dishes with water about the garden. I have not yet seen a hedgehog at our place, but we have a lot of other wildlife so I'm hopeful one will make an appearance in due course...

Hello Kate you are my brother Johnny’s neighbour. He always buys me your books for my birthday. We used the pond book to help design our pond!

I leave three containers of water for birds and hogs and two hogs visit each night. They do not 'get on' and fight over the food even though I leave two saucers of food out nightly.

Hi Hugh! I took this advice and popped a water bowl out in my wildlife garden this last week. I was amazed by the variety of wildlife that took advantage. It was wonderful to watch. I put together a short video. If you have a couple of minutes to check it out you can find it here https://melissalee1.substack.com/p/water-for-wildlife
